  Nessler's reagent method

  The content of ammonia nitrogen in drinking water, surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater can be determined by Nessler reagent method. Measurement range: 0.05-5.00mg/l, 5.0-25.0mg/l.

  Measurement principle of Nessler's reagent method

  Ammonia nitrogen in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ion reacts with Nessler's reagent to form a reddish brown complex. The absorbance of the complex is directly proportional to the content of ammonia nitrogen. The colorimetric measurement is carried out at the wavelength of 420nm.

  Analysis steps of ammonia nitrogen Nash colorimetry:

  (1) Preparation of ammonia nitrogen reagent and water sample

  Put water sample into each ammonia nitrogen tube, add 2 drops of reagent 1 and 3 reagent 2 according to the instructions, tighten the bottle cap, develop the color for 10 minutes and test on the machine.

  (3) Ammonia nitrogen colorimetric determination
