◆ current situation of urban black and odorous water treatment in China

Since the State Council issued the action plan for water pollution prevention and control in 2015, various departments in various regions have made rapid action and made positive progress in the treatment of black and odorous water bodies in cities with remarkable results.

According to the data of the national regulatory platform for the treatment of black and odorous water bodies of the Ministry of ecological environment, by the end of 2018, the current situation of black and odorous water bodies in China: 2100 in total, 91 in plan formulation, 264 in treatment, 1745 in treatment; 8021km in total, 176km in plan formulation, 1724km in treatment, 6121km in treatment.

It can be seen from the figure that the treatment effect of the black and odorous water body in the city is remarkable, and most of the black and odorous water bodies in the city have been treated.

Comparing the two maps, it is found that the number of black and odorous water bodies under treatment accounts for 13% of the total, while the number of kilometers of black and odorous water bodies under treatment accounts for 22% of the total, up 9%.

Therefore, we compared the average kilometers of each black and odorous water body under treatment, treatment completion, scheme formulation and total treatment, as shown in the following figure:

It can be found that, compared with the completed water body and the water body in the formulation of the plan, the average number of kilometers per water body in the treatment is significantly higher.

It shows that the treatment of black and odorous water body in our country has entered the stage of overcoming difficulties. It also shows that compared with the black and odorous water body that has been treated before, the investment and profit of a single black and odorous water body in the treatment will increase.

Market space analysis of black and smelly water in cities

Based on the data of 33 projects on the treatment of urban black and odorous water in CPPC (government of the Ministry of Finance and social capital cooperation center), * it is calculated that the national average investment cost per kilometer of urban black and odorous water treatment is 5.04 million yuan.

The water body of black and odorous water body in the treatment stage and scheme formulation stage is 1900 kilometers, which directly brings about a total investment of 9.576 billion yuan.

The figure below shows the number of black and odorous water bodies in cities of all provinces and cities in 2018 based on the data from the national urban black and odorous water treatment and supervision platform

It can be seen from the figure that there are more than 200 * echelons in the number of black and odorous water bodies in the cities of Guangdong and Anhui; more than 100 in Hunan, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hubei and Henan; more than 50 in Sichuan, Jilin, Fujian, Shanxi, Guangxi, Beijing, Liaoning and Shanghai; less than 50 in other provinces.

It can be found that the number of black and odorous water bodies in coastal provinces is generally large, and the number of black and odorous water bodies in southern provinces is more than that in other regions. The areas and markets for urban black and odorous water treatment will be more concentrated in coastal areas and southern provinces.
